A harley and a sportbike riding together?! What is this! Turns out a coworker has a bike! Ive never ridden with a guy who rides a harley before, but it was still fun. Albeit very noisy... I mean, i thought my bike was loud... but its a whole new level even riding behind him i cant hear myself haha.
Thankfully i now have a buddy to ride down to the bikes on beale street. Hopefully i can make some vlogs about memphis too. And a supermoto is much closer to actually happening. I just have to find one for sale close enough....

I once had a 996 Sportster, a BMW GS650, a Gold Wing and me on my Vespa 150 on the same ride. We got alot of weird looks

Here is a mix of cruiser/sportybikes.
Two Harleys, one metric cruiser, and two sportybikes.
The dude behind the Dyna is taking this photo.
Once we hit the twisties, the sporty guys were GONE.
A few times they squirted ahead and waited for us (like the photos above). The other time, they raced up the mountain, doubled back, and then raced up it again to catch up with us a little later.
While they were a hell of a lot faster than us cruiser guys, there is only so much faster you can go on public roads.
The ride to and from skyline drive was easy to do with a mixed bunch. I'll ride with anyone once.

Ugh... another Harley with straight pipes. How "original".
Harleys are not that noisy when they're stock. It's the idiot owners who stick straight unmuffled pipes onto them that makes them excessively noisy. This is what the stock pipes look like:
That bulge near the end is what stops them from being stupid-noisy.
I hate motorcyclists who feel the obnoxious need to put straight pipes on their bikes.
And a disproportionate number of them are Harley owners.
Straight pipes do NOT save lives. They only piss people off.
Motorcyclists with straight pipes make themselves look like assholes.
